Privacy Policy

  • Article 1 General Provisions

    The term "personal information" means information on living individuals, such as signs, text, voice, sound, video, and biometric characteristics that can be easily combined with other information even if a specific individual cannot be recognized by name or resident registration number. CallGate places great importance on the protection of customers' personal information and complies with the personal information protection regulations under the Information and Communication Network Use Promotion and Information Protection Act. Through the personal information handling policy, CallGate will inform you of the purpose and method of using the personal information provided by the customer and what measures are being taken to protect personal information. CallGate is making it easy for customers to see the personal information handling policy on the first screen of its website.

  • Article 2 Items and methods of collecting personal information

    When distributing clients for services directly to customers, CallGate notifies the scope and purpose of the collection in the service terms and conditions in advance in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations when collecting personal information. CallGate collects the following personal information for smooth service provision.

    If a client for providing a CallGate service is deployed in an application owned by a service provider or affiliate, it may be the service provider or affiliate rather than the CallGate that notifies the scope and purpose of the collection of personal information. In the case of the preceding paragraph, CallGate enters into a personal information/business consignment contract or a contract to provide personal information to a third party with a service provider or affiliate and performs personal information processing based on this. Apart from the client, we collect the customer's phone number to provide services to customers who are connected to the service provider's call center or carrier line that provides call center communication services. This phone number is processed only during a call based on a personal information consignment contract and will be deleted immediately after the call is terminated.

  • Article 3 Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

    CallGate provides a call-related additional screen service that allows you to quickly find the menu and check the desired information on the smartphone screen without having to listen to the voice guide until the end by visually showing related information on the mobile phone screen. CallGate does not collect personal information that could significantly infringe on the client's basic human rights, including race and ethnicity, ideas and creed, origin and domicile, political orientation and criminal records, and health status.

  • Article 4 Use of collected personal information and provision of it to third parties

    CallGate shall use the customer's personal information within the scope notified in the Terms of Service or the "Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information" of the Personal Information Handling Policy, and shall not use it beyond this scope or provide it to a third party.

  • Article 5 Inspection and correction of personal information

    Customers can view or correct their personal information at any time. If you want to view and correct your personal information, you must visit the CallGate headquarters or go through a certain proof process to confirm you by e-mail (privacy@callgate.com ) and fax (02-529-2180). If a customer requests correction of a personal information error, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed.

  • Article 6 Withdrawal of consent to the collection and provision of personal information

    You may withdraw your consent to collect, use, and provide personal information at any time. Customers who withdraw their consent may contact the corporate call center or CallGate Headquarters Privacy Officer who has received the service, or call a free phone (080-135-1136) to request the withdrawal. This request may take up to 3 business days to process. You can replace the withdrawal of your consent to use personal information by deleting the Callgate Solution service client program that you have installed. In order to process the withdrawal of consent, the prescribed procedure for identification may be carried out in the method of Article 5(2). If you withdraw your consent and take measures such as destroying your personal information, we will notify the customer of that without delay.

  • Article 7 Retention, period of use, and destruction of personal information

    Customer's personal information will be retained and used only as long as CallGate can serve the customer. In accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations, personal information in the service usage log may be held for up to 12 months, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if it is necessary to hold it for a certain period of time. After the purpose of using the collected personal information is achieved, CallGate shall be permanently deleted in the form of an electronic file in a way that cannot be restored, and in the case of other records, prints, documents, or other recording media, it shall be destroyed by crushing, incineration.

  • Article 8 Technical and administrative measures for personal information protection

    Technical measures: CallGate applies technical measures to ensure safety in handling customer's personal information so that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, tampered with or damaged.
    Management measures: For the safe protection of personal information, CallGate operates major systems and facilities after regular security checks from external companies or specialized institutions such as telecommunication companies.

  • Article 9 Collection of opinions and handling of complaints

    CallGate values the customer's input and you have the right to always receive sincere answers from questions. CallGate operates a civil complaint handling center for smooth communication with customers and the contact information is as follows.

  • Article 10 Personal Information Protection Officer

    CallGate is committed to ensuring that good information is available to our customers safely. In the event of an accident contrary to the matters notified to the customer in protecting personal information, the person in charge of personal information management shall be fully responsible. However, despite technical supplementary measures, we are not responsible for information damage caused by unexpected accidents caused by basic network risks such as hacking and various disputes caused by posts made by visitors. The person in charge and the person in charge of handling the customer's personal information are as follows, and we respond quickly and sincerely to inquiries related to personal information.

  • Change of Personal Information Processing Policy

    If the contents of the current personal information processing policy are added, deleted, or revised, it will be notified through the website "Notice" at least seven days before the revision. However, if there is an important change in user rights, such as collection and utilization of personal information or provision of third parties, it will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
